This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones tradingblog.it uses and how to manage them, pursuant to the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and the Italian Garante Guidelines of 10 June 2021. Controller: Tiziano Brunno — tiziano@tradingblog.it.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user’s device to make the site work, remember preferences or collect statistics. The definition also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and identifiers.

2. Types of cookies used

  • Technical / necessary cookies: essential for the site to work and to store cookie-consent preferences. No consent required (art. 122 Privacy Code).
  • Analytics cookies: via Google Analytics, to understand in aggregated form how the site is used. Installed only after consent.
  • Third-party cookies: set by embedded services (YouTube, Google reCAPTCHA, Brevo), subject to their respective privacy policies.
  • Profiling / marketing cookies: not used. If introduced in the future, the policy will be updated and fresh consent requested.

Google Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.

4. Legal basis and consent duration

Technical cookies rely on legitimate interest / technical necessity (art. 6.1.f GDPR, art. 122 Privacy Code) and do not require consent. Analytics and third-party cookies rely on consent (art. 6.1.a). Consent (or refusal) is stored for a maximum of 6 months, after which the banner is shown again.

5. Managing your preferences

On your first visit a banner is shown allowing you to accept or reject non-necessary cookies, with equal graphic prominence. You can change your choices at any time via the banner control (or by deleting the consent cookie, which will bring the banner back).

6. How to disable cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings:

For analytics cookies the Google Analytics opt-out add-on is also available. Disabling technical cookies may impair some site features.

7. Consequences of refusal

Refusing analytics and third-party cookies does not affect browsing. Disabling technical cookies may instead impair the correct functioning of the site.
